Cloud Gazing (2022-)—an ongoing photographic series—portrays a view similar to a lookout on a ship's bridge, scanning the horizon for potential obstacles. Each piece has a matching poem where the work provides remedies, upliftment and techniques to lead us through fundamental life experiences. The surreal cloudscapes encourage deep contemplation, allowing space for intuitive insights to flow freely.
Julie's work draws from her personal experience and daily practices to offer valuable insights that can assist us in navigating our inner worlds. Her poems and personal remedies reflect a deep understanding of life's complexities and offer a unique perspective on life's challenges.

Look for the highlights.
Feel into these areas
Do they feel right?
Bask under its glow,
It will unravel into a state of flow.
Remember, there is always light,
To make everything just right.

Always attempting to leave its mark.
Their choice of weapon is one of love,
And those ones that aren’t ready will choose to run.
The runners have built an idea,
That no one truly loves them out of fear.
It's a prism they have built in their minds,
But the Brights’ tactic is always to be kind.
