~ CLOUD GAZING II ~
Cloud Gazing (2022-)—an ongoing photographic series—portrays a view similar to a lookout on a ship's bridge, scanning the horizon for potential obstacles. Each piece has a matching poem where the work provides remedies, upliftment and techniques to lead us through fundamental life experiences. The surreal cloudscapes encourage deep contemplation, allowing space for intuitive insights to flow freely.
Julie's work draws from her personal experience and daily practices to offer valuable insights that can assist us in navigating our inner worlds. Her poems and personal remedies reflect a deep understanding of life's complexities and offer a unique perspective on life's obstacles.
When you must walk alone,
Just realise you are stronger then you know.
It may feel dark with many distractions,
But be courageous with your thoughts and actions.
A light will shine on all your interactions,
Leading you to a place that delivers more satisfaction.
