The Secret Enemy (2021) conveys different types of non-physical interferences that can hinder the desired outcome. This series uses a romantic scenario as a metaphor to depict blockages that can arise in new developments in one’s life. The interferences referenced in this series are energetic meddling, the direct impact of someone’s fear upon another, rumours, and delayed timing—as being the product of the first three points. The overall aim of this work is to shed light on how non-direct interferences can misdirect situations and, in most cases, will occur unexpectedly. These instances create confusion and conflict in our lives and may be difficult to identify the cause. In these situations, being aware of the subtleties that exist around us while understanding whom we associate with will help to dispel these outside influences.
